Position: Welder
Schedule:  Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4-Day Workweek)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.
  • Set up fixtures and prepare materials for welding operations.
  • Perform MIG welding on steel components used in the manufacturing of medical devices, including bed frames and therapy equipment.
  • Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs as necessary.
  • Work closely with production team members to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow all company quality standards, safety procedures, and workplace policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly rate starting at $19.50/hour
  • Additional $1.00/hour attendance bonus (inquire for details)
  • Quarterly performance bonus eligibility
