Position: Inventory Control Specialist
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and Fishbowl inventory records.
  • Work closely with purchasing, production, and shipping to coordinate material needs and prevent shortages.
  • Enter and maintain all inventory transactions in Fishbowl, including adjustments, transfers, and returns.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, organization, and material flow.
  • Assist with basic inventory reporting and tracking of key metrics.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or related coursework preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using Fishbowl or similar inventory software preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 35–50 lbs.
  • Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms for handling parts or materials.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as needed.
