Position: Finishing Specialist
Schedule:  Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4-Day Workweek)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and properly prepare weldments and components for the powder coating process.
  • Operate powder coating ovens safely and effectively to properly cure finished components.
  • Apply powder coat paint to prepared weldments, ensuring consistent and complete coverage.
  • Inspect painted components for proper coverage, finish, and overall quality.
  • Load, unload, and move materials throughout the finishing process using the company cart system.
  • Work closely with other production team members to keep materials moving efficiently and meet daily production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, production, painting, powder coating, or finishing experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing a high-quality finished product.
  • Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and finishing techniques.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work safely around wash equipment, ovens, powder coating equipment, and other manufacturing processes while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly rate starting at $18.75/hour
  • Additional $1.00/hour attendance bonus (inquire for details)
  • Quarterly performance bonus eligibility
