Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Finishing Specialist to join our manufacturing team and help prepare high-quality medical equipment for final assembly and delivery.

Position: Finishing Specialist
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM (4-Day Workweek)
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash and properly prepare weldments and components for the powder coating process.
- Operate powder coating ovens safely and effectively to properly cure finished components.
- Apply powder coat paint to prepared weldments, ensuring consistent and complete coverage.
- Inspect painted components for proper coverage, finish, and overall quality.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the finishing process using the company cart system.
- Work closely with other production team members to keep materials moving efficiently and meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, painting, powder coating, or finishing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing a high-quality finished product.
- Ability to work independently while also working effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and finishing techniques.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to work safely around wash equipment, ovens, powder coating equipment, and other manufacturing processes while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly rate starting at $18.75/hour
- Additional $1.00/hour attendance bonus (inquire for details)
- Quarterly performance bonus eligibility
